PPC is a type of blended cement made by grinding OPC with pozzolanic materials like fly ash or volcanic ash. Ideal for mass concrete works like dams, bridges, and marine structures, PPC also reduces environmental impact by utilizing industrial by products. PSC is a blended cement made by combining OPC with ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS). It offers excellent durability, high resistance to chemical attacks, and reduced heat of hydration, making it ideal for marine structures, dams, and high-strength concrete applications. PSC enhances the longevity of concrete in aggressive environments and is more eco-friendly compared to OPC. It meets IS 455 standards for quality and performance.
Rapid hardening cement is a type of grey cement designed to achieve high early strength, which makes it suitable for quick construction projects. Unlike ordinary concrete cement, which takes longer to gain strength, rapid hardening cement achieves similar compressive strength in a much shorter time.
